Dear Students and Colleagues,
We are all excited to start a new academic year in our new building. We welcome our new students. We would like to emphasize that we are very happy to see our other students back in our faculty after a long summer semester. In this academic year, we will not only be the producers and sharers of academic knowledge; we will also continue to work tirelessly to provide you, the defenders of justice and human rights, with professional experience and skills.
In the journey of education, it is not enough to have knowledge; at the same time, the ability to use the knowledge obtained is extremely important for individual and professional life. In our faculty, we continue to plan the curriculum with the mission of gaining practical skills as well as increasing academic achievement and to make this goal continuous. We know that learning does not only take place in closed spaces. For this reason, we enrich our education programs with practices such as scientific and cultural meetings, clinical courses, and trial competitions. At this point, our ultimate goal is to help our students develop their reasoning skills, practice critical thinking and problem solving, and improve their communication skills.
Our teaching staff consists of dedicated academics who are well versed in their fields and are in constant communication with our students. While guiding our students, they strive to support their personal and social development by seeing them not only as students but also as individuals.
Legal education requires a deep thinking ability and a strong ethical stance. In this process, we should not forget that the challenges you will face will make you stronger and that every experience will offer a new learning opportunity. Our faculty will continue to do its best to support you in every aspect and contribute to your success. Do not forget that each of you is a valuable part of this educational institution and you have great potential as future leaders of justice. I wish you continued success in the new term.
