Organization

Our faculty was established with the decision of the President published in the Official Gazette No. 30850 on August 2, 2019. It started its education and training life with the first students in the 2020-2021 Fall Semester. In 2024, 144 students graduated from our faculty. There are currently 785 students enrolled in our undergraduate program.

Departments

There are two departments in our faculty, private law and public law, but these departments do not have different education programs and do not award different diplomas. Our academic staff work in the departments of “public law” and “private law” according to their fields of study.

Academic Staff

There are sixteen (16) Assistant Professors and thirteen (13) Research Assistants in the Academic Staff of our faculty. In addition, three (3) Professors and one (1) Assistant Professor lectures at our faculty as guests. In addition, twelve (12) Research Assistants in our faculty have been temporarily assigned to another university by the Council of Higher Education within the scope of Article 35.

Graduation

Faculty of Law students can graduate if they complete 240 (successful) ECTS during their undergraduate education. The diploma of the students is labeled as “Law” Graduate.

Education and Training Model

The duration of undergraduate education at the Faculty of Law is four (4) years. There is no second education program. There is an optional one (1) year foreign language preparatory class. There is no compulsory internship.

Where Education and Training will take place

The education and training activities of the students enrolled in the Faculty of Law are carried out in the classrooms of the department within the Faculty of Law.

Dormitory Opportunities

Faculty of Law students have the opportunity to stay in the dormitories of the Credit Dormitories Institution and private dormitories in Çankırı Center.

Scholarship

Faculty of Law students can apply for scholarships and loans provided by the Credit and Dormitories Institution at the beginning of their undergraduate education. They can also receive support for scholarships from the municipalities and chambers (such as the Chamber of Commerce) where they reside.

Part-Time Work

Students enrolled in the Faculty of Law can apply for part-time work in different units of our university since the beginning of the academic year. The fee and conditions for part-time work are announced on the web page at the beginning of each semester by the Department of Health, Sports and Culture.
